OBJECTIVE
To grow capital in the public markets exceeding the rate of inflation through the use of index and global large cap company investing.
MANDATE
The Hoovest Core Fund has the ability to go long or short depending on market conditions. The fund may use derivatives when appropriate. Although the fund is not limited to any geography or sectors, it focuses on North American, European, and Asian large cap companies.
GEOGRAPHY
The Hoovest Core Fund invests primarily in North American with some international exposures. The fund’s mandate is not restricted by geography, but we focus on the companies and the markets in North America first while acting opportunistically on investments in the rest of the world.
EXAMPLE HOLDINGS
The Hoovest Core Fund has the ability to go long or short on any holdings and has the discretion to go to all cash to avoid periods of extreme volatility. We use macroeconomic fundamentals and technical charting to let the market guide us in making timing decisions.
