Sammi Wei, BComm

Sammi is a serial entrepreneur, advocate, and educator of blockchain and the decentralized future. She is a Strategic Advisor of Hoovest Financial Inc. focusing on technology, through a lens for social impact.

With more than 8 years of experience in the arts, entertainment, and media industry, Sammi is leveraging her creative problem-solving skills and an education rooted in computational thinking to explore and advise on exciting ventures in blockchain and AR/VR. Driven by a mission to create social and cultural impact through the creative industries, Sammi is passionate about empowering not-for-profit organizations and entrepreneurs to shape an equitable and inclusive future.

Sammi is currently an MBA Candidate at the University of Oxford (Saïd Business School), where she is a Glen Mehn Scholar and Forté Fellow. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from UBC.
